One eye, one look, one mouth, one expression

and a light to give it life.  

 

To see well, you don't need two eyes, but one gaze.

 

An eye looks, perceives what is around it, then at a certain point

he is captured by a light or a detail and so he begins to observe

until intuition takes shape in a look and expression in a mouth.

 

My hand-painted ceramic works are born in Sicily where lights and shadows

from the past stimulate my present.
